In a slitter rewinder, we need to use several rollers for different functions, eg, driving rollers, press rollers, dust-removal rollers, dancing roller, etc. There rollers need to be parallel with each other and in vertical position to the slitting mechanism. During assembly, the operators can’t achieve this target simply by measuring tools or their own experience, it is therefore necessary to design several base points to facilitate the accuracy of assembly. The base points are designed and processed by advanced CNC machines. Also, adjusting and locking mechanism are designed to execute the fine tune of the rollers.

Accuracy is extremely important for this high speed running slitting rewinding machine, while durability is equally important, because all the equipment owners expects a lasting and stable machine. Machine’s failure in production is always a big headache for factory owners. Therefore, the selection of proper steel with desired physical properties is a kind of know-how.
