How to guarantee the durability of a slitter rewinder

Theoretically, slitter rewinder is not very complex. Sufficient power, appropriate structure, parallel rollers, vertical knives, other auxiliary functions, auto-systematic integration, are all the factors needed to make a perfect slitting rewinding machine. This is absolutely correct in theory. In facts, the manufacturing processes are much more complicated than that.

How much power is sufficient? 10% more than the real consumption, or 20% more?

What is appropriate structure? What dimension and thickness would be enough for the machine to load the max. Rolls and run at high speed?

Parallel rollers is easy to say, how much accuracy is needed? Slitter rewinder is assembled by different parts, how the parts are perfectly mounted so as to meet the accuracy requirement?

If all the factors are ideally realized, how much time the parts can last?

For the installed power, we usually choose a motor power of 15% higher than the calculated power as per requested by the customer’s expected loading capacity. The motor’s durability would be another big project, which is out of Juyou’s fields. We choose to rely on well-recognized brands, such as Siemens or other long-term tested brands.

Regarding the dimension of Juyou slitter rewinder and the thickness of structural material, our concept is “do it more than enough” so as to avoid the machine from micro-shaking and guarantee the stability.
